 Brown Havana is a native of Thailand and goes back around a thousand years. These were among the first cats to come to England from Thailand in the 1800s. 

The Brown Havana is one of several new cat breeds that were bred with the Siamese to create a cat similar to the Siamese, but with new traits (less vocality than the Siamese, etc.) they were bred by mating brown color point Siamese with several other types of cats featuring other desired traits.Brown Havana

Grooming, Diet, and Health of Brown Havana cats

The Brown Havana just needs a once-weekly brushing to keep her coat looking healthy. Further to brushing, all cats should have their claws trimmed every two weeks. Cats are also prone to periodontal and should have their teeth brushed two to three times a week.

Also, the Brown Havana seeks attention from its humans, so much so that it will often pat at them with its paws as if to steer them towards a good petting session.

 Brown Havana loves to play fetch, even when their humans don’t know the game has begun (if you can’t find certain small items, check your cat’s space first).

The Brown Havana cats do eat wet foods, but it is advisable to discuss with your vet what diet would best suit your Brown Havana, and milk is not recommended for cats.

Does Brown Havana have a lot of health issues? 

Brown Havana is not known to have any heritable conditions though they are prone to urinary stones, which are painful rock-like deposits of minerals in the bladder. These breeds of cats are relatively healthy.

Additionally, This breed is not known for being polydactyl though the mutation can spontaneously occur in any cat breed.
